I’d say that’s kind of a milestone. It’s higher than 99 and seems more valuable for some reason. It is almost like finding a C note in the pocket of your jeans when you least expected it. It’s a joyful moment!
Before I started writing this, I looked back and read all of my previous “365 Days of Thankfulness” posts. I’ve been copying and collecting them on our Samesides blog under that category. If you ever feel like visiting my website, it really helps to spread the word about our Rainbow family’s mission of making lemonade out of lemons, and seeing the number of visits in my stats actually causes a higher drive of visits. Here’s the link: https://samesides.wordpress.com/. I love seeing the number of “shares” under my Facebook button and appreciate comments made under various posts, which also drives interest to the blog.
Anywho, enough with the sales pitch. It was really cool going back and seeing the things I have been thankful for in the middle of Cancer. I reminds me that being thankful for ALL things, including the ka-ka, comes back to me in blessings 100x. It gives cancer positive meaning for me… and has at times helped others. Because if I’m not impacting others in some positive way, then my own life doesn’t have much meaning or purpose. I want to leave a positive footprint in this world, and recording it puts it out there in the annals of history. Living Life, Loving Life and Impacting Others fills my love tank and spills into my kids’ lives, my students’ lives, my friends’ and families’ lives… and even to my cat. Gosh I love that feline.
So, here’s to the number 100. I will drink to that with my protein shake and do a shot of nausea meds in its honor!
So hold up your glass. Cheers to life and the number 100!
